I am a Queensland rurally trained Consultant Psychiatrist.

I obtained my medical degree in the UK before moving to Australia in mid 1990 doing my advanced psychiatric training in Mount Isa before moving to Townsville to practice general adult psychiatry in my own practice in 1996.

​

I obtained my Senior Fellow status in August 2022, this is achieved after 25 years of being a registered practicing Psychiatrist.

I have a special interest in the following areas: 

• Psychological Trauma (particularly military related)

• Anxiety Disorders

• Mood Disorders

• Medico-Legal Reports (including personal injuries, Work Cover, Self Insurers etc.)
